It's The Versatility For Me: LUVME WIG
If you know me personally or you’ve followed my social media for some time, you know that I consider my hair to be my best accessory. From braids to playing with color, I’ve really done it all. My love for wigs however runs deep because as a woman on the go and someone who needs variety, it just works for me. I especially love the convenience of wearing wigs when I’m in between retwists for my locs because it let’s me throw a curveball in between salon visits.
I want to share with you the newest “baby” to my collection. Basically, if you’re in need of a style that is versatile and easy to maintain, you might just owe me a cup of coffee after this blog post because I’ve found it….
If you have never heard of Luvme then you are officially in the know as of today. I received the Jerry Curl Headband wig and instantly out of the box I knew it was a winner. The curls were pretty defined before I added any product and depending on the look you are going for, it won’t require any manipulation. I prefer hair that’s big and so with a few sprays of water and a minimal teasing, I was able to achieve my desired look in no time, which I greatly appreciate.
I’m a huge fan not only because it came with everything you need like a stocking cap and headbands but it was easy to install. And if you’re like me, I’m not a fan of wigs that are sewn down or require glue, so this is perfect.
The wig blended well with my hair but depending on how far back you wear this unit, your leave out won’t even be a factor when styling. The complete install to include securing it down with the combs and getting the curls just the way I wanted took about 20 minutes. I’m a middle part type gal but the hair can easily be transformed into a half up half down situation or a top knot in no time, so I'm sure there’s a styling option that will fit the look you’re going for.
Bottom line, if you’re looking for a protective style that doesn’t require any hassle, this is it.
